This policy explains what information Five Pack Studios ("we", "us") collects on fivepackstudios.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you buy something: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered. Payment details go straight to the payment processor. We never see your full card number.
When you send a commission inquiry or email us: your name, your email address and what you write.
When you browse: pages visited, device and browser, the site that sent you, and rough location (city or country). Squarespace, which hosts the site, keeps basic visitor statistics.
Kerf, our chat helper
Kerf is an AI chat helper. When you chat with Kerf, what you type goes through a chat service run by our partner Emberwright Enterprises, LLC, to our AI provider, Anthropic, which writes Kerf's replies. The words of a chat are not kept once it ends. The service keeps only simple counts and, if you ask Kerf to pass a message on to us, that message. To apply a daily message limit, it uses a scrambled version of your internet address that is deleted after one day; the address itself is never stored. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat. Kerf can make mistakes, and the words on this website come first.
How we use it
To make, ship and support your order; to answer your inquiries; to send order emails such as receipts and shipping notices; to understand which pages help visitors, in totals only; and to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the business, and only what each one needs: Squarespace (website and inquiry form); our partner Emberwright Enterprises, LLC, whose Shopify checkout handles our orders; Shopify and its payment processors (checkout and payment); Anthropic (the AI behind Kerf); Google (our email), shipping carriers, professional advisers who must keep it confidential, and authorities when the law requires it.
Cookies and "Do Not Track"
Some cookies keep the site working, such as remembering your cart. We don't use advertising cookies. Browsers' "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard, so the site doesn't respond to it.
How long we keep it
Order records as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years. Inquiries and messages as long as we need them to help you and keep a record of what we agreed.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing Support@fivepackstudios.com. We'll confirm the request through your email address first, and we'll answer within 45 days. We may keep what the law requires, such as sales records.
Changes
When this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
